Welcome! These are just notes. My (often unfinished) thoughts, not properly edited. Things taken from my journal, study notes etc. I mostly wrote these notes as a way to help me give voice to the thoughts and ideas I have floating around in my head, but I made them public just in case someone else might benefit from them.

Meeting My Mentor for the First Time

Meeting Connie Ragen Green

On April 12, 2023, I saw this message in Connie’s e-mail. This is the last call to join my live marketing event, “Clarify Your Message, Enlist Your Tribe.” I love gathering with a small group of people to share my knowledge and experience with them, and to also learn from each other over the course of three days together. I have some special guest speakers as well, and you may see what it’s all about at:

Something about that e-mail stirred me to my very core. I felt an urgency, a strong desire to be at that event. I told my husband I need to get in front of Connie. I’ve been on her list and purchasing her products for 10 years and she probability doesn’t even know who I am. I need to let her know I’m serious about this online business. So between what I’d saved up from my allowance that my husband gave me every month and my husband helping, we scrapped enough to make the trip to California. It had been over 30 years since we’d been on a plane and it was a whole new experience for us. To say I was nervous and unsure was an understatement but with my husband by my side and believing this was something God wanted me to do, I was able to hold it together.

The moment we arrived we got a glimpse of what the Beverly Hillbillies must’ve felt like when they first rolled into town. And Wow! the trees and flowers were so beautiful!

Connie met us at the beautiful Ayres Hotel we were staying at. She was the ultimate hostess. She was very kind and down-to-earth. She made us feel welcome and like she was very glad to see us and my fears started to melt away. Still uncertain but not quite so nervous.

During that time we were introduced to”The Video Godfather,” Lou Bortone, and I had my first introduction to AI by Denise Wakeman. During our stay, we all went to the Huntington Beach.
